What is the refund and cancellation policy for the Schererville Parks Department?

NO REFUNDS will be given after the first program meeting. Programs will be cancelled if the minumum class numbers are not met (full refunds will be given). NO Refunds will be given for a trip unless a replacement is found. All refunds will be processed with a signed claim. NO CASH REFUNDS are permitted.
Nothing hurts a program more than late registration. Due to the fact that we purchase program supplies, trip tickets, and order buses we request that you sign up for a program or trip no later than one week before it begins or by specified deadline. On occasion late signups have caused cancellation of some programs and trips. Please note that many of our programs and trips fill quickly and a late signup could also mean missing out on the trip or program

Is there a time limit for completing my order?

Once you have clicked on "Register for this program" you will have 15 minutes to complete the transaction. If you have not completed the transaction within the allotted time, the program seat will be made available to other visitors.

What are the Parks Department's Office hours?
|
|
The Schererville Parks Dept. operates out of the Rohrman Park Office and our hours are 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.

Can the Parks Dept. accomodate special needs?
|
|
Programs through the Schererville Parks Dept, are inclusive to our special needs community. If special accommodations and needs are required please contact the Park Dept. no later that two (2) weeks prior to a program or event at (219) 865-5530 or TDD/TTY (219) 322-5000.

Can I view activities with out registering?
|

This website is set up for a person to browse or search the website without creating a login name. Once you have decided to sign up for a program, you can then create a login name to register for a program.

How do I reserve a Park shelter?
|
|
Registration for Park shelter rentals is taken at the Schererville Clerk Treasurer's Office (10 E. Joliet St). To find out if a date is available contact the Clerk's Office at (219) 322-2211 ext. 5

How will I be informed my transaction was successful?
|

An email will be sent to the email address that you provided when registering.
